Pierre (Pete)'s Story
I was the first AFS exchange student who spent a full senior year in MTHS. I was then living by the OLIVOLA family in King's Highway. I returned in 1962 to my homeland (BELGIUM) and studied medecine. I am a general practicioner in TOURNAI, in the southern french speaking part of the country. I will retire a the end of 2012. I kept in touch with my host family till last year, and visited them several times since 1962. I would be pleased to have knews from the 62 schoolmates who still remember me! I entend to participate at the 50th anniversary meeting wich has to take place in Middletown in july 2012, and afterwards will spend a couple of days visiting New York with my wife Michele. I'll enjoy meeting many of you then.

he countryside, visiting foreign countries (South East Asia, Kenya, Namibia, Russia) and spending several weeks camping in southern France and Spain! It was a pleasure for me to attend the 50th anniversary meeting in 2012. It was the opportunity to introduce my wife Michele into the everyday American life. Hope our health and wealth (...) will allow us to join a future meeting in 2017 maybe ???
